Our Landlord & Tenant group represents commercial and residential landlords, owners, developers, Cooperative and Condominium boards, banks and institutional investors, property management companies, and, commercial tenants. In addition to non-payment and holdover proceedings, we skillfully handle all landlord tenant related matters such as lease defaults, interpretation of lease provisions, nuisance, objectionable conduct, security, option agreements, harassment, nonprimary residence, illegal subletting, succession, and, owner occupancy matters.
We regularly appear before the New York City Civil Court, New York State District Court, New York State Supreme Court, and the United States Bankruptcy Court and participate in arbitration matters. We also defend and challenge Administrative Ruling by Petition for Administrative Review (“PAR”), as well as Article 78 proceedings in the New York State Supreme Court.
We draft and opine on leases, license agreements, amendments, modifications, and other lease related documents to ensure our clients’ protection.
