Leslie Berkoff Panelist At New York State Bar Association’s Taking The Lead Mock Trial Program
Leslie Berkoff, a partner of the firm, will serve as a panelist for the New York State Bar Association’s (NYSBA) CLE/Mock Trial program “Taking the Lead 2024: Winning Strategies & Techniques For Commercial Cases” on November 13, 2024 from 5:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the U.S. District Court- Southern District of New York (Daniel Patrick Moynihan United States Courthouse Ceremonial Courtroom) in New York City.
The program, sponsored by NYSBA’s Commercial & Federal Litigation Section, will showcase women commercial litigators through the re-enactment of an actual civil trial with presentations of compelling opening and closing statements and direct and cross-examinations of witnesses, followed by a critique of the presentation by prominent members of the judiciary. There will also be an awards ceremony for the presentation of the Hon. Shira A. Scheindlin Award for Excellence in the Courtroom, and the Hon. Judith S. Kaye Commercial and Federal Litigation Scholarship to five female litigators exemplifying excellence in commercial litigation skills and practice.
