GARDEN CITY, NY; January 5, 2017 —The law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP with offices on Long Island and Manhattan has announced that Dennis C. O’Rourke, a resident of Dix Hills, has been named a partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2017.

Dennis C. O’Rourke, formerly of counsel to the firm, concentrates his practice in all phases of complex corporate securities and mergers and acquisitions. The scope of his practice includes representing investors, issuers and underwriters in corporate finance transactions including initial public offerings, secondary offerings, private placements and mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Mr. O’Rourke also works with emerging growth companies in various corporate transactions. As a recognized leader in his field, he regularly appears before major business leaders as a speaker on a multitude of issues affecting the corporate and securities community. Mr. O’Rourke graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1989 and earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law.
