Marc L. Hamroff Speaks At ELFA’s Annual Legal Forum 2011

Garden City, New York; April 25, 2011—  Marc L. Hamroff, managing partner at the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, will speak at a roundtable discussion “Legal Talk Live” at the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association’s (ELFA) Annual Legal Forum to be held on May 1-3, 2011 at the Westin Kierland Hotel in Scottsdale, Arizona.

The discussion will cover topics such as successor liability, litigation over Program Agreements and the importance of adding certainty to such agreements; liability issues relating to the misuse of data stored on computers; lien perfection lapses and the impact on guarantor claims; chain of title proof issues in litigating defaulted leases that are a part of securitization; and the perils of short form Bills of Sale on the disposition of collateral.

Mr. Hamroff serves as the managing partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP.  In addition to serving as the firm’s managing partner, Mr. Hamroff also heads the firm’s Financial Services Practice which includes the bankruptcy, equipment leasing, secured lending and creditors’ rights groups.  He provides special concentration in litigation, and workout and bankruptcy matters nationwide.  In addition to his practice, Mr. Hamroff regularly provides educational and strategic seminars on a multitude of issues affecting the leasing and secured lending community and as a published author, he has written numerous articles on various topics related to the financing industry.
