Creditors’ Rights Associate 3-5+ years (Garden City Office)
We are seeking a mid-level associate with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience to join our Creditors’ Rights, Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Group. Candidates should have:
- Substantive experience drafting complaints and motions
- Conducting discovery
- Taking depositions
- Appearing in federal, state and bankruptcy courts
- Negotiating settlements
- Corresponding with opposing counsel and clients
- Experience in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights law preferred, including collateral repossession, the Uniform Commercial Code (Articles 2, 2A and 9 in particular), equipment leasing, commercial real estate foreclosure and commercial finance law.
The salary for this position will range from $140,000 to $160,000 annually, based upon experience.
