American Heart Association Founders Affiliate Board of Directors Hosts Board Meeting At Massachusetts State House
On April 6-7, 2017 the American Heart Association’s (AHA) Founders Affiliate Board of Directors, the regional board governing all the AHA local boards from Maine to Pennsylvania, held a meeting in Boston where they met with local legislators to discuss heart legislation as part of the Board’s quarterly meeting agenda. The Board heard from Senator Jason Lewis about the legislative effort to move forward a Sugary Drink Tax and Tobacco 21 legislation. Board members were asked to share their support of this legislation in their own state.
