Scott K. Levine has over 35 years of experience in assisting clients in corporate reorganization, bankruptcy, leasing, secured transactions, litigation, commercial and residential real estate, commercial foreclosure, corporate and collections law. He has regularly represented chapter 11 creditors’ committees, secured lenders, equipment lessors, major insurance companies, individual unsecured creditors, chapter 11 and chapter 7 trustees, landlords, debtors-in-possession and both filed and unfiled liquidating companies. Additionally, Mr. Levine also serves as outside corporate counsel to various companies and institutions.
During law school, Mr. Levine was involved in a legal clinic with the National Veteran’s Law Center. He was successful in obtaining an honorable discharge, before a formal hearing board, for a volunteer Vietnam veteran who was misdiagnosed and wrongfully discharged.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Levine served as the managing partner of Platzer, Swergold, Levine, Goldberg, Katz & Jaslow LLP, a boutique law firm in New York City.

Mr. Levine is admitted to practice in New York as well as before the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Western Districts of New York.
Mr. Levine is currently a member of the Equipment Leasing and Finance Association (ELFA) (former member of the Legal Committee, Subcommittees on Bankruptcy and Software); the Association for Corporate Growth; the United Association of Equipment Lessors; the Secured Finance Network (SFNet) formerly known as the Commercial Finance Association (CFA); the New York Bankers Association; the Risk Management Association (RMA); the International Factoring Association; the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) also known as RECon; and the New York State Bar Association. He is a former member of the Board of Advisors of the Veterans Aid Foundation; the Board of Directors of N3 Networking; Gotham Networking; the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) (former member, Unsecured Trade Creditor’s Committee); the Nassau County Bar Association (Bankruptcy Committee); and the Board of Editors of Leader’s Equipment Leasing Newsletter.
