Nafisa Ahmed concentrates her practice in all facets of not-for-profit law, where she advises in a broad range of corporate, finance and regulatory matters applicable to not-for-profit and tax-exempt organizations.
Ms. Ahmed advises clients throughout the lifecycle of a nonprofit organization, including formation and qualification for tax-exempt status, ongoing state and federal compliance, and complex transactions such as mergers, consolidations, acquisitions, and dissolutions. Her practice also includes advising on corporate governance, general corporate, real estate and financing matters.
