Jodi B. Zimmerman

Jodi B. Zimmerman is Partner with the firm where she focuses her practice on the representation of sponsors, developers, condominium associations, cooperative apartment corporations and not-for-profit organizations.  Ms. Zimmerman routinely counsels’ sponsors in the preparation and filing of condominium offering plans and amendments in the New York metropolitan area. Working alongside with sponsor/developers, Jodi collaborates with architects, engineers, management companies and marketing teams, to provide a streamlined work flow in all aspects of the development process.  Ms. Zimmerman has extensive experience in the filing procedure, rules and regulations of the NYS Department of Law, Real Estate Finance Bureau; providing her clients seamless representation from start to finish.

Ms. Zimmerman also serves as counsel to condominium, cooperative and homeowner association boards in the New York area.

Additionally, Ms. Zimmerman has extensive experience in Elder Law and Estate Planning matters including wills, trusts, probate, administration and guardianships. Ms. Zimmerman draws on over 30 years of counseling and business experience to meet the needs of our clients.

Ms. Zimmerman is admitted to practice in New York, as well as being admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. In addition, Ms. Zimmerman is admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

Ms. Zimmerman is a member of the Nassau County Bar, New York City Bar and New York State Bar Associations.

From 2008, Ms. Zimmerman has served as co-chair and committee member for various committees for the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, Nassau County Bar Association and served as a co-chair of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing and from 2010 to 2015. In addition, Ms. Zimmerman extended her community efforts volunteering with the pro bono legal clinic of the Nassau County Women’s Bar Association, at the Mary Brennan INN, and serving as a team captain, for over 9 years, for “Making Strides Against Breast Cancer,” a charity walk that takes place every October at Jones Beach.
