Robert L. Schonfeld will be a featured speaker at the Association of Community Living’s 29th Annual Conference to be held on November 4-6, 2008 at the Sagamore Hotel in Lake George, New York.

The three-day conference will cover issues relating to the day-to-day rehabilitative activities performed in community, residential and other settings for individuals with persistent psychiatric disabilities.  Mr. Schonfeld’s presentation “Rights and Procedures for Residences in the Involuntary Discharge/Eviction Process” will cover the laws pertinent to the discharge and eviction of residents, in both licensed and unlicensed housing.  In addition, the content and impact of the new Office Mental Health Part 595 regulations that govern discharges from licensed residential programs will also be discussed.
