In this heartfelt video, Marc Hamroff shares how the loss of his father to heart disease became a powerful catalyst for his lifelong commitment to fighting heart disease and stroke on Long Island and across the Eastern States Region. What began as a personal tragedy evolved into a family-wide mission of advocacy and support.

A long-time advocate of the AHA, Marc has served as Board Chair of its Long Island Chapter and founder of the long-term advisory committee, Board member for the Eastern States regional board, Chair of its Annual Long Island Golf Classic, and appointed for the term (2013-2015) by the NY State Senate to the Tobacco Use Prevention & Control Advisory Board.

Marc was formally presented with this prestigous honor  on June 2 at the 35^th Annual Long Island Golf Classic – A Joel Hamroff Memorial Tribute, a memorable and joyous occasion celebrated with his family, clients and friends.
