Garden City New York; December 5, 2008 — Steven A. Horowitz, Esq., Henry E. Klosowski, Esq., and David N. Wechsler, Esq. of the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP will present a panel discussion entitled “Estate & Gift Tax Update & Planning Strategies” at the New York State Society of CPA’s Suffolk Chapter: 2008 All Day Tax Conference on December 13, 2008. The conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Hauppauge from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Steven A. Horowitz is Senior Tax Counsel at the firm and Henry E. Klosowski and David N. Wechsler are partners of the firm. Michelle E. Espey, an associate of the firm, will serve as moderator.
Steven A. Horowitz serves as senior tax counsel at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP where he heads the firm’s Tax, Trust and Estates practice group. Mr. Horowitz concentrates his practice primarily in the areas of estate planning, estate administration, elder law, income tax planning and business planning for closely held business entities, securities and general business practices. In addition, he has also served as an adjunct professor in estate planning and partnership tax law at Hofstra University School of Law. Mr. Horowitz earned both his M.B.A. and J.D. from Hofstra University.
Henry E. Klosowski is a partner at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP where he co-heads the firm’s Tax, Trusts and Estates practice group. Mr. Klosowski concentrates his practice in all phases of trust and estate planning, as well as, probate law, estate administration, elder law, guardianships and estate litigation. He earned his J.D. from the University Of Bridgeport School Of Law.
David N. Wechsler is a partner at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP where he focuses his practice in all phases of estates and trusts law, including the drafting of all types of estate planning documents and the representation of fiduciaries in the administration of estates and trusts. Mr. Wechsler earned his LL.M. in Taxation from New York University and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
Michelle E. Espey is an associate at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP where she is involved in many aspects of tax law, business tax planning, state and local taxation, and tax controversy matters. She represents many individuals and businesses in audits and collection matters before the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Ms. Espey earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
