Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP Welcomes Technical Advisor Bret Shapiro To Its Patent Practice
Garden City, New York; September 28, 2012 — The law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP with offices on Long Island and Manhattan has announced that Bret Shapiro, of Oceanside, has joined the firm as a technical advisor in its Patent Practice Group where he will be responsible for handling U.S. patent preparation, prosecution and litigation.
Mr. Shapiro has over 10 years of experience in the chemical engineering industry. His areas of expertise include chemical engineering, physics, nanotechnology, chemistry, computer science, materials science, medical devices, and packaging engineering. Earlier in his career, Mr. Shapiro worked for Bristol-Myers Squibb (formerly DuPont Pharmaceuticals), Pall Corporation, and the Estee Lauder Companies. He earned his B.S. in chemical engineering from Polytechnic University.
