Michelle E. Espey Featured Speaker At NYSSCPA’s East End Tax Conference

Garden City, New York; January 7, 2010 — Michelle E. Espey of the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP will be a featured speaker on tax collection issues at the New York State Society of CPA’s Suffolk Chapter 2010 East End Tax Conference on Thursday, January 21, 2010. The conference will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn in Riverhead from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The conference will update participants on current developments in taxation. Topics covered will include: Federal Tax Update, New York State Update, Tax Collection Issues, Pension Reform, Multistate Taxation, 1031 Exchanges, Energy Credits, and Charitable Giving.
Michelle E. Espey is an associate at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP where she is involved in many aspects of tax law, business tax planning, state and local taxation, and tax controversy matters. She represents many individuals and businesses in audits and collection matters before the IRS and NYS Department of Taxation and Finance. Ms. Espey earned her J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law.
