Civil & Criminal Tax Controversy Updates for 2016 Seminar

Laurie B. Kazenoff and Jonathan Trafimow, partners of the firm, will be featured speakers at the “Civil and Criminal Tax Controversy Updates for 2016” seminar on Thursday, August 18, 2016 from 8:15 am – 5:00 pm at Long Island University-LIU Post Campus.

Topics to be discussed include IRS-Civil & Criminal Tax Update (Domestic & Offshore); New York State Criminal Tax Updates; Residency Audit Updates including credits for taxes paid to Other Jurisdictions; NY State Collection Update; Representing the Cash Business, Indirect Methods, Income Reconstruction and Best Practices; Ethics for the Tax Professional and Preparer Investigations; DOL and Taxing Authority- Correctly Classifying Service Providers as Employees or Independent Contractors.  The seminar will also feature IRS, NYS and DOL government speakers.

The seminar provides 8.0 NY & NJ CLE credit hours and 8.0 NY & NJ CPE credit hours.
