Leslie A. Berkoff To Be Honored at About Face 2005 Fundraiser for Domestic Violence Survivors on Long Island

About Face 2005: Making Changes  will hold its Third Annual Fundraiser to benefit Face to Face: The National Domestic Violence Project and the Nassau County Coalition Against Domestic Violence on September 22, 2005 at the Carltun in Eisenhower Park, East Meadow.  The event is being chaired by facial plastic surgeon, Dr. Andrew Jacono.  This year’s honorees include Leslie A. Berkoff, a partner at Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP; Bilha Chesner Fish, M.D., director of Pathways Women’s Health Center; and Caroline Monti-Saladino, executive vice president at Don Monti Memorial Research Foundation-NSUH. Honorable Men-tion is Scott Neher, publisher of Elements Magazine. The honorees have been selected for their ongoing commitment to improving the lives of women and the Long Island community.

The National Domestic Violence Project was developed to help repair both physical and psychological scars by providing complimentary consultations and surgeries to domestic violence survivors who have suffered injuries to the face, head or neck.  To date over 1250 women have been helped by the Face to Face program and over 275 surgeons participate in the program.
