Seth P. Stein, Esq. To Be Honored By National Foundation For Human Potential & FREE

Garden City, New York; November 14, 2012 — Seth P. Stein, a partner of the firm, will be honored by the National Foundation for Human Potential and Family Residences and Essential Enterprises Inc. (FREE) at its 35th Annual Celebration of Life Gala on Friday, November 30, 2012 at The Royalton at Roslyn Country Club.  Mr. Stein is being recognized for his outstanding dedication and service to the organizations.

Seth P. Stein is a partner at Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP where he concentrates his practice in the area of not-for-profit law.  A significant portion of Mr. Stein’s practice includes the representation of programs and agencies providing residential, educational, and day services to children and adults with handicapping conditions.  Since 1980, Mr. Stein has acted as legal counsel and since 1988, as Executive Director, of the New York State Psychiatric Association, the professional specialty organization representing the practice of psychiatry in New York State.  He also serves as legal counsel to the Alliance of Long Island Agencies, Inc. an association of not-for-profit agencies providing services to consumers with developmental disabilities and their families in both Nassau and Suffolk Counties. Mr. Stein received his Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law and is admitted to practice in the State of New York.

The National Foundation for Human Potential is a not-for-profit organization that promotes, develops and encourages educational and support services for children and adults with different abilities through financial and other means of support.

Family Residences and Essential Enterprises Inc. (FREE), founded in 1977 is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping individuals of all abilities to realize their full potential and prevail over life’s challenges.
