Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP Names New Partner For 2014
Garden City, NY; December 10, 2013 — The law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP with offices on Long Island and Manhattan has announced that Steven S. Rubin, a resident of Oceanside, has been named a partner in the firm, effective January 1, 2014.
Steven S. Rubin, formerly of counsel to the firm, concentrates his practice on all phases of complex patent-related matters, both domestically and internationally. Mr. Rubin serves as chair of the firm’s patent practice group, as well as chair of the firm’s cybersecurity practice group. In addition to his legal career, Mr. Rubin is also an adjunct professor at Stony Brook University where he teaches intellectual property law and volunteers as a student mentor. He has also taught patent law to students and faculty at Brooklyn Law School, Fordham University School of Law, Stony Brook University and Farmingdale State College. Mr. Rubin earned his J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law and his B.S., magna cum laude, in electrical engineering, from New York Institute of Technology (NYIT).
