Michael Cardello III, Esq. Appointed To Nassau County Bar Association’s Judiciary Committee

Garden City, New York; November 28, 2012 — Michael Cardello III, a partner at the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, was recently appointed to serve on the Judiciary Committee of the Nassau County Bar Association (NCBA).

The NCBA’s Judiciary Committee is responsible for screening candidates who are running for judicial office in Nassau County at the request of the Democratic and Republican parties.  Each candidate’s qualifications and background are thoroughly examined, and personal interviews are conducted before the Committee as part of the selection process.

Mr. Cardello concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial litigation, and represents large and small businesses, financial institutions and individuals in both Federal and State Courts. He is a former law clerk for the Honorable Arthur D. Spatt, United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of New York, and presently serves on the Committee for Civil Litigation of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York.  In addition, Mr. Cardello is currently appointed to a number of cases as a Discovery Referee and Special Referee by Justices of the Supreme Court of the State of New York, and he is approved to serve as a Receiver by the Officer of Court Administration in the State of New York. Mr. Cardello also serves as Chair of the Nassau County Bar Association’s Commercial Litigation Committee and is a member of its Alternative Dispute Resolution and Federal Court Committees. He is also a Fellow of the Academy of Court-Appointed Masters. Mr. Cardello earned his J.D., M.B.A., and B.B.A degrees from Hofstra University.
