Attorney James Chou Joins Moritt Hock & Hamroff As Partner- New Hire Continues Firm’s Growth

Garden City, NY; August 10, 2015 — Marc Hamroff, managing partner of Moritt Hock & Hamroff LLP, is pleased to announce that James P. Chou, Esq. has joined the firm as a Partner in its Litigation Practice Group, resident in the firm’s New York City office.

James P. Chou concentrates his practice on all facets of complex commercial litigation for hedge funds, private equity funds, financial institutions and multinational corporations. Mr. Chou is an accomplished trial lawyer who has litigated major cases before various courts and tribunals.  He also advises leading investment fund clients and their portfolio companies in managing and assessing litigation risks relating to highly sophisticated transactions.  Mr. Chou earned his J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center and his B.A. from New York University, magna cum laude, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chou was a senior litigator in the New York City office of Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld LLP. He is a past president of the Asian American Bar Association of New York and currently serves as a member of its Advisory Committee and as vice chair of its Judiciary Committee
