January 12 2009 Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP Names New Partner for 2009FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Garden City, New York; January 12, 2009 — The law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP with offices on Long Island and Manhattan has announced that Lee J. Mendelson has been named a partner of the firm effective January 1, 2009. Lee J. Mendelson, formerly of counsel to the firm, concentrates his practice in the areas of commercial litigation, creditors’ rights and construction law where he regularly represents both large and small businesses as well as the individuals who own them. In addition to his practice, Mr. Mendelson serves as a Major in the New York Guard and provides legal and family support services to members of the National Guard and other military reserve units. He is also an active member of the Long Island Builders Institute and the Hamptons Green Alliance. Recently, Mr. Mendelson was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Alumni Association of St. John’s College. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University School of Law.
