Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP has enjoyed a steady rate of growth since its founding in 1980, and the firm fully expects this growth to continue. The firm boasts a long-standing and successful summer associate program. Many of our entry-level associates have completed this program; however, we also hire lateral attorneys at various levels.

Our attorneys have graduated from various national law schools, such as the Georgetown University Law Center and the University of Southern California Law Center, as well as from local schools like New York University Law School, Hofstra University School of Law, St. John’s University School of Law and Brooklyn Law School.

The firm seeks law students and lawyers for employment who possess outstanding intelligence, demonstrate academic achievement, participate in extracurricular activities (either work on a journal or moot court) and maintain a firm commitment to excellence. We seek to hire individuals who will thrive from our unique combination of sophisticated legal work and small firm atmosphere.

Summer Associate Program

Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP generally hires two or three summer associates, who are students who will have completed two years of law school at the time of the internship. The firm conducts on-campus interviews at various local law schools, and accepts resumes from other interested students.

Every effort is made to ensure that our summer associates work in, or are at least exposed to, all of our practice areas. The firm attempts to include its summer associates in as many ‘hands-on’ experiences as possible, such as depositions, court appearances, closings and client meetings. While particular attorneys serve as mentors for the summer associates, all attorneys are available for guidance.
