In this action, MHH&H represented the assignee of a money judgment in an action to compel the sale of real property owned by the judgment debtors in order to satisfy the judgment. The defendants opposed the sale on the grounds of payment, release of creditors’ rights and champerty. After an evidentiary hearing to determine whether or not the defendants had been properly credited for all payments made in satisfaction of the judgement, all defendants’ defenses were dismissed and the property was directed to be sold.
