Diversity, Inclusion & Pro Bono
At Moritt Hock & Hamroff, we are committed to embracing diversity and creating a diverse workforce. We believe that in order to attract and retain the best talent, and to effectively serve our clients, our professionals must fully reflect our incredibly diverse community. We are dedicated to the inclusion of all persons in the legal profession, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, disability, transgender or sexual orientation, and strive to demonstrate this commitment in our recruiting, training, and mentoring, and through events, speakers and other forms of outreach. Our professionals are active in a multitude of professional associations, charitable organizations, and other groups dedicated to the advancement of women and minorities and our firm supports and encourages this involvement. The firm recognizes that notwithstanding the diversity that is already reflected in our ranks, we can always do more to enrich and expand that diversity.
In addition, we are also committed to serving the community by providing volunteer and pro bono legal services. Our firm strives to provide the best legal representation to pro bono clients as it does with any billable matter. Our attorneys have provided volunteer and pro bono legal services to charitable organizations, including the American Heart Association, EPIC Long Island, Heaven Sent Penny, Inc. and the MS Society, as well as to individuals and organizations seeking reasonable accommodations under the Fair Housing Act.
